Kara Goldin is a thought leader, disruptor, and the Founder and CEO of Hint Inc., the creator and producer of the leading unsweetened flavored water brand, Hint Water. Kara and I met and worked together for a hot minute at AOL, where she was part of the sales executive team that took the company from zero to billions of dollars in sales. After leaving the company and taking some time off for herself, Kara went on a very personal journey that she chronicles in her book, Undaunted: Overcoming Doubts and Doubters.

Kara joins me today to define what it means to be undaunted and explains why she calls herself an “accidental” entrepreneur. She shares the challenges she faced and lessons she learned in starting and expanding the Hint Water brand. She explains what the “try” mindset is and illustrates how it can help you navigate life’s unknowns. She also discusses how her experiences in previous companies she’s worked for informed how she created Hint’s company culture and underscores the power of a purpose-driven mission.

“The key thing in life is figuring out what you want to get up and do. Do something you feel good about. That’s the fuel that will keep you going through hard days.” - Kara Goldin
